If you could have only 1 pair of Edward Greens ... - Page 5

I'd take a suede Dover on the 606, but I'm not sure what shade exactly. I'd have to spend some time with the swatch book.

Beaulieu austerity brogue, on the 82 or 88 (Fosters) last.

Black. So I could wear them to work, not just at weekends.

The guy in the shop tells me the Beaulieu is no longer a stock/catalogue item. WTF?

Hmm... A month ago, the guy at the Jermyn Street shop told me that they simply had no Beaulieus at the moment. There was a Robertsbridge (the derby version of Beaulieu) pair on sale, that I remember. Pity if the Beaulieu has become MTO only.

Wow! Those look fantastic! Burnt Pine color I take it? How does the 32 last fit? Is it a fairly wide last similar to the 202 or on the more narrow side like the 82? From the look of your photo, it seems almost like a cross between the two lasts.

Yes, I think they're burnt pine. The 32 is a narrow last - certainly compared to the 202. I don't own anything on the 82 last, but compared to other manufacturers the 32 strikes me as being on the narrow side.

Thanks! Do you wear the same size in both the 202 and 32 or did you have to change sizes and widths?

Bespoke punched cap in black circa 2005, designed and closed by Tony Gaziano, bottom made by Dean Girling, obviously. Sorry just a troll.

For some reason I don't love the 606 except on the Dover. And on the Dover it looks frikkin spectacular...

Try it on a pair of Newmarket (Chelsea) boots in Burnt Pine and you won't be disappointed! :^)

Mine are on a C width and I agree that in E width the 606 looks a bit mundane.
