What They Sell at Daffy's -- New Blog on Daffy's Menswear - Page 28

I stopped by the 44th and Madison store this evening and picked up two shirts with labels that I haven't previously seen at Daffy's. One was marked 19.99 and the other 29.99. Both were 25% off. The first is a nice beige or ecru and the second is a white w/ navy stripe. Generally, I'd say they have certainly restocked the dress shirts in the last week. There wasn't much of anything at this location last week.

Lots of comments on SCs and dress shirts which were very helpful. Anyone has a suggestion on dress pants brands they would recommend? I'm in NY only for a day so any help would be very very appreciated. Thanks!

I stopped by the 18th Street location on the way home from work yesterday. There were some new shirts from the SAITT factory. I picked up two more and left behind about ten that I can't use. I also got a couple of Amicale scarfs for around $20. While I was there I also picked up a couple of merino wool vests and sweaters for all around $20. (I already put them in to storage and didn't want to dig them out. They're just navy and charcoal v-necks.)

From my last haul (I found my camera cable.)

There isn't much very good in the way of trousers at Daffy's right now. They used to sometimes stock Mabitex/Incotex, but haven't had anything this season. Your best bet is to look at brands that haven't really been heard of and inspect the quality. I got some well-made trousers about a month ago from a brand called "Messori Black Label" but I didn't see any yesterday at 18th Street.

Think they'll go past 25% off? Said no further discounts but wasn't sure.

Thanks. I looked around yesterday at 3 locations but found only one trouser I liked.

Yep, they are done. There is no new merchandise coming in anymore, but, there are still plenty of Sait shirts in the NYC stores as of last weekend.
