For the cotton versions, you could risk a hot dry and see what happens. I tried that once with a newer dryer unit, and it worked pretty well but I knew I was taking a chance with the fit afterwards. For the alpaca ones... not sure.

Yeah, mine is alpaca. From last fall, so the fit is not super tight. It's stretched out in the sleeve and shoulders.

I've found a gentle soak in warm water and laying flat to dry has helped

Yeah I just put mine in a sink with tap water and some mild detergent, give it a swirl, leave it for 20 mins and then lay it flat to dry and it's pretty much back to normal. Fwiw I only wash delicate knits once a year (end of winter).

I wish Ervell would go back to the roomier cut shirts of several years back.

PSA for those fellow Ervell fans who might be looking for a real deal US made leather jacket, I just listed a FW14 black heavyweight leathet aviator jacket in B&S. Great piece.

I like Ervell FW13 and before that. FW13 was excellent. I think I wanted almost 10 pieces, mostly outerwear and trousers in wool and cotton with super nice texture. Recent collections are dull. Too much nylon and polyester and polyurethane. Can't wear that shit.

He seems to have a lot more refined collection now, like he's paired it down to a handful of seasonal pieces and just does variations of it.
Either way the pleated pants from last season are great.

Someone buy the bomber on Rooney, please!

i picked up another pair of Ervell trousers, the formal pant. I'm a 31 and bought the tagged 32. I've noticed an odd effect where it seems like the trousers create a diaper like effect on the front, through the crotch. So when I walk the fabric bunches up through the upper thigh and across the front of the crotch. It's weird.

Nothing seems tight on me, there's room in the thigh and in the waist. Is it the rise? I'm wearing them on my hips, which seems about right.

With a 31 waist and 165 lbs, seems hard to believe that I'm too much of a fatty for Ervell. Admittedly I do love squat day, but these trousers do have room in the thigh.

This is second pair of Ervell trousers where I've noticed this.

Anyone else notice anything like this?

What is the rise?
I have similar issues with AMI pants. The top block is relaxed but the rise is so low that everything bunches around where there is "dead space" and it give you a fabric vagina, or fab vag as my wife put it.

Rise is 11"

Sounds like I should skip AMI too

Here's a couple pics

Hard to tell with the dark fabric but it looks OK to me. The AMI stuff is only an issue in certain fabrics (cords and flannel suit pants), most of his stuff has a longer rise and/or better fabric.

Webstore CS is awful.

I was charged, item was OOS after I followed up on it 10 days later (why does the customer have to follow up?)

Said I'd be refunded within 2 weeks, so I gave them 3. Still no refund.

Emailed after 3 weeks, and a rep said they'd follow up within the next day. 4 days later, no response. So I just filed a chargeback. What kind of bullshit customer service is that?

At least you can shop from the webstore. Here in Canada I just drool over the prices.

Still that's ridiculous

Hah I'm still waiting for a refund as well. Said two weeks as well, on 3 now. CS has been less than stellar as well in the past but I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt.
