Slept on the blazer coat...then again I know that I wouldn't wear it that much so it's not a huge deal.

People didn't seem to like the forest print but now that my field coat size is sold out: I honestly think that print is dope as fuck, especially on the field coat.  Just works.  Drips sophisticated streetwear swag if you pull it off right.

What stopped me is that it's not a daily piece...and I probably wouldn't have been able to do it right..

French Garment Cleaners in Brooklyn stocks Ervell - not sure what they have now but I'd give them a call and see since the website hasn't been updated yet. I was there recently and saw some...

Ervell webshop had those, sold out quick after first round of drops though. They also didn't put that colorway up until pretty late in the season also.

Anybody know how much formal pants were last few sales? Seeing prices range from 70-150ish? Looking at the wool ones and trying to figure out whether to buy now or pay the $30+10+3% suddenlee

So my collegiate jacket came in today too.  Pattern is more subtle than the close-up on the website would indicate.  I got a Large at 5'10 175ish and it's actually...a tiny bit big in the body - but the perfect tailored fit in the arms.  Arm length is spot on for my preference (slight stacking).  Sort of egg-shape ish, but it's very subtle.  I don't mind.  I don't think I would've been able to get away with sizing down...and retaining freedom of movement.  Like most raglan bombers (hi ToJ) the limitation for a lot of people when trying to size down will be their back/lats.

Surprisingly, it's also a little long on me (by 0.5-0.75inches) for varsity standards - even though Ervell is known for cropped cuts.  Guess I have some growing/layering space haha.  Basically fits similar to the model except a little bigger in the p2p (imagine the gap where you see his shirt near his neck being smaller) and longer in the body (I'm not a model so this is expected lol).   Anyways A- still dope would recommend

Didn't know Suddenlee offered a special sample sale service now. Might be worth it to see what they have.

^ Sounds like the deals might not be that mind-blowing, based on comments about September's sale. A lot of 40% off stuff supposedly.

I wish I could wear more Ervell stuff but as a tall guy I'll just have to admire from afar.

Got the Collegiate Jacket in the mail today, it's amazing:

Unlike past seasons of the varsity, the armholes aren't super low and it gives a much slimmer profile. The guys at the webstore recommended sizing up and I would agree if you want a looser, more classic fit, but I went TTS (S for a 46) and I'm extremely happy with the way it fits. Can easily layer a knit with it and it's very comfortable as is. The wool is super soft and has a great pattern to it. Fits slightly cropped but nothing extreme. Best cop of the season for me

So nice. I had the blazer coat in this fabric before returning it for the Navy which I ordered, and I must say it is beautiful.

In fact, I think it would suit this jacket better than the Blazer Coat.
