The place I ordered from doesn't accept returns... And in a way I sort of knew the medium would be a little too long for me at my height. I think it was always the size small or nothing at all. Keeping my fingers crossed until I receive it.

As for the differences between last seasons, the sales staff told me this season's material is not as heavy and is slightly looser, I'm guessing for spring summer purposes.

isn't the grey jacket from f/w, and the khaki jacket is from s/s? the khaki jacket is a windbreaker-esque take on a traditional 60/40 jacket.

That might be the case Teger, however the SS jacket I received is not like a windbreaker IMO. It's quite heavy and warn enough for winter IMO.

I havent handled the FW version to compare it to though I know it does come with a removable liner which would make it even more ideal for winter.

There was a Khaki version of the FW field jacket for 2012; probably a stupid question but did you check to make sure that the tag says that it is from SS?

Does anyone know where I can find the Formal Pants in Navy Size 30? I'm feeling like they might be a better fit for me than the Standards.

Yeah the tag states SS13xxx.

I noticed the Khaki (which they called Camel for FW12) has the moleskin and removable lining.

That is the jacket which whyme? has and mentions above.

..

I heard back from Start-London overnight and they have acknowledged that they made an error and the Grey they had listed as in stock is in fact not available.

They sent me the SS Khaki version incorrectly however it was priced as if they were sending me an old stock FW12 in Grey.

In the end I've received the latest version for $290 landed. Still, a little disappointed as I wanted the darker color which I think looked much better.

the difference is that the khaki you received is a spring/summer version, which is why it wasn't lined. it has the drawstrings because the design is a take on a 60/40 jacket

Any place you know of still selling it in size large? Thanks.

No, sorry. I got mine from another user here.

As I mentioned above, I was sent the wrong jacket (I ordered Grey). I've been considering sending it back and tried it on again today (it's been wrapped up since it arrived). I am unsure of both the color (against my complexion) and sizing. Other than the sleeves being a little long (like always with me), it doesn't 'feel' too big. What do you think? It is a jacket after all and will be worn over other items so I wouldn't want it too fitted, but an M might have been better than the L anyway.

I think the size looks good actually, a size smaller would not have been a good idea. I do kind of agree about the color though
post #1290 of 2368

Yeah I am less concerned about the size and more about the color.

Will be sending back I think. Unless someone here wants it? BNWT and only tried on.

PE site still has it for about $440 + shipping. I can pass this on for $290 + cost of shipping (my exact costs).

Size L.
