tonio i really doubt a 40 in the blazer would work for you. i could squeeze into a 40 and i'm.. a lot bigger than you. I used to own a 42 (was a nice fit) but i decided it was just too short to be taken seriously as a formal jacket, and I had no need for a casual blazer. his blazers are just cut... strange.

Thanks. Looking for the thigh measurement which Ervell doesn't have. How heavy are they? Picked up some EG wool ones but they are super heavy duty and probably too thick for me.

If you've ever wanted to own a pair of colorful blue or red pants, I own Incotex, I own Bill's, and I own Docker's D1 tapered below the knee ($15), and they are all pretty much the same.

Just got a pair of Ervell jeans in 28. They fit like a dream. Tight, tight waist (maybe 13.5 inches) and a very slim fitting leg. They look to be very well made too.

any one/shops selling the charcoal or static formal pants in 30?

I thought I could swing it since the 38 I just returned from the Gilt sale was too tight around my waist and a bit snug fitting in the shoulders. It didn't seem like a huge jump in dimensions per the measurements on the site. From my first experience, I also think they seem to be cut strange, more like a closely fitted knit given how unstructured they are.

Gotcha. I think the thigh measurements on my size 32's are about 11.5"-12" if that helps. If you search the B&S thread or the Archives you might turn up some pants with measureements in the size you're looking for. As far as weight, the charcoal tweeds I just picked up aren't that heavy at all, I have tweed pants from last season that are a heavier winter weight. I would say these could be worn almost all season, with the exception of the hottest days of summer.

I love thicker weight wools for super cold days though. If it gets cold where you are, you'll appreciate the EG ones.

The Ervell site was the only place I found selling the Static pants/blazers. In my opinion, the best variation.

edit: PE blazer in Charcoal, Material: 52% Cotton, 48% Linen, made in Korea - size 36, 38, 40, 42 for $263

We just finished previewing the Autumn/Winter 2012 men's collection and the focus has not changed. The men's collection is probably the largest and best to date in my opinion. He may be focusing on two collections now but from what we saw the men's collection was not sacrificed.

One thing that I would like to point out is that many of the lines admired over on SZ (Viridi Anne, Attachment, BBS, Julius, Raf with the exception of Jil, etc) do not even have women's collections, so I'm not really sure where this is coming from. I agree that I hope he doesn't lose his focus, and that's certainly a valid concern after ss 2012, but hopefully fw 2012 is much better as neighbor claims. Honestly, producing two collections a season isn't that crazy, just look at the number someone like Raf is in charge of. Then again, maybe he's not the best example considering his recent showings.

when is the showing?

Looking to get the fw11 winter button down in navy,sz large if anyone has one they're selling.
