I've got a tab collar button down size small; looking to trade for something medium (or poss. trade + cash) if anyone's interested.

New? What're measurements?

Might be willing to buy straight up if new

Nah, I got it here from B&S:
p2p- 20
s2s- 17.5
sleeve- 24.75
Beautiful shirt; think it would be too small for you, though.

Nah I wear shirts with a 19-20 inch p2p, but I thought you were referring to the white one from gilt

So I returned the size 38 blazer from the Gilt sale (I wear a small in shirts/tops/outerwear) as it was way to tight in the waist. Shoulders and chest were on small side, but still do-able and the sleeves were perfect. I'd be curious how the 40 fits, model on site wears smalls and models the 40, probably would have been better, ah well. Keep an eye out for it if you had it on your wait list.

Curious about the cadet coat as well

It seems like it would be as warm as you'd anticipate a short wool coat/bomber jacket without any insulate. I'm guessing layered with a sweater/button down/scarf would keep you warm most of the winter until the temperature drops low enough to bring out the big guns.

I was mostly curious about sizing, seems a size up from your shirt size would give a nice fit according to the model on the website.

Blazers run so tiny, like BoO or R&B

Yup. I was going to, but it seems like the times I try to list before returning, no one likes haha. Like my W+H jeans in my sig for instance. If I had known....

It's more than that though. I'm a 38 in BoO, which is a size up from my typical 36R, and the Ervel blazer in 38 was even more constricting than BoO. I think the issue I see is that the blazer was too unstructured. The body hugged me like a fitted knit sweater instead of a typical blazer. Just an odd fit. I'd be curious how the 40 would it me.

I just received the cashmere/wool formal pants in Static Grey and they are fantastic. This is the fabric/colorway I was really looking out for this season, but retail was a bit more than I wanted to spend, so I was more than happy they made it to the final sale reductions, especially since the site was the only stockist I could find stocking that particular colorway. Nice. Now if only I could find the matching blazer in a size 40...

I saw those in the GQ issue a few months ago and couldn't help but cringe. I'm a sucker for all Ervell errthang, but those didn't do it for me.
