A metallic perpetual calendar meant to be placed on one's desk. Day, date, and month rotate on a constant loop by the use of levers at the back. Start each day with the ritual of flipping over the spool to mark the date. Large text and numerals make it easy to glance at on your desk.

Shown marking today's date. The surface shows wear, but it has held up well. A polish would spruce it up. The functions of all the levers are smooth and clicky, the only exception being that on the rollover from Sunday to Monday, the day loop sticks a bit and requires a few pulses to get it to "catch" onto Monday. Otherwise, no complaints. Exterior is finished in a textured extruded motif.

No identifying signage or markings of any kind, but the bottom is lined in a red velvet-like material so it can sit comfortably on a desk. This part conceals the inner workings, but isn't meant to be opened.

Bought in Japan from a rare goods dealer who rescued it from an old hotel, though almost assuredly of Occidental origin.

Smart, interesting conversation piece. With this on desk, you can check the date with certainty. Make flipping the date over part of your morning ritual. This handsome piece will be there to greet you.

They're cool things, a bit clunky/large. Best of luck with your sale, but to be honest I seen these at flea markets for $10, and on Etsy for $20. I can't imagine one being worth your asking price though.

Thank you for that clarification. Interested parties can now have this item for $20.
