The functions of all the levers are smooth and clicky, the only exception being that on the rollover from Sunday to Monday, the day loop sticks a bit and requires a few pulses to get it to "catch" onto Monday. Otherwise, no complaints. Exterior is finished in a textured extruded motif.
No identifying signage or markings of any kind, but the bottom is lined in a red velvet-like material so it can sit comfortably on a desk. This part conceals the inner workings, but isn't meant to be opened.
Bought in Japan from a rare goods dealer who rescued it from an old hotel, though almost assuredly of Occidental origin.
