Bose Headphones

Just bought a pair of Bose IE2 in-ear headphones. VERY impressed. If anyone is looking for some incredible headphones, these are it. Decent price too. They have these things that fit in your ear so perfect for running and such.

Not spamming this, just very impressed.

Bose are a waste of money. You can buy better headphones for less.

Anyone care to give an example of the "better then Bose but for less" headphones?

How much are the Bose headphones?

Grado makes a great entry level audiophile headphone. Their SR-80 are the same price as that Bose thing and sound 10,000 times better. Nit that Bose products are bad--just incredibly overpriced for mediocre performance.

You guys are missing the boat I think. I'm not denying that the options you listed are viable and good options for headphones. I was talking about IN-EAR headphones. I was looking for something for working out and something small and easy to transport, in these fit the bill... plus some.

You also have to remember that BOSE are bad because they mess with the sound and aren't accurate. Well some people like the sound Bose produce, and as such are happy with them. I've used my QC3's and Aviation X headset for years and love them. Their home theatres are over priced admittedly but I've yet to see another manufacturer make an All-in-one set with cube speakers smaller than Bose. I wish some people would stop shitting on brands by assuming that whoever buys them is lacking in knowledge. Sometimes the purchase is a decision made by intelligent people.

Agreed.

I don't even think people looked at your link, every other set of headphones said to be better was an over the ear style.

Bose audio products are crap. $100 budget? Etymotic ER-6 Westone 1 Shure SE210 ANY of these will be VASTLY superior to the Bose. I'm sorry, but anyone who purchases Bose products these days just haven't done their research properly. Or appreciate good sound. *EDIT* In case it wasn't clear, anyone looking for some incredible headphones don't buy Bose.

People are also happy with Hugo Boss suits and Kenneth Cole shoes. That doesn't make it good.

Bose is the equivalent of Kenneth Cole square-toe shoes.

By all means, if you have made an active choice that you like the Bose sound, then buy them. If you buy them out of ignorance because you don't know better, know better.

Great options, I would also like to add the Ultimate Ears Super Fi 3s to that list. Bose and Beats by dre are so over hyped, ask any audiophile or anyone who knows sound/music.
