The shoes posted are beautiful! Do there happen to be any option in the ~300 range?

I like the look of more 'fashion forward/modern' double monks with jeans. eg. Jil Sanders monks.

I feel like the slightly more rounded last on the carminas will work better togheter with jeans compared to the more pointy/square toe on the lowndes

Very nice! These would also go great with khakis.

Where can one get these - and for about how much?

I just bought a pair of 501's in rigid selvedge and they are the nicest pair of jeans I have ever owned. People love to hate on Levi's, but much of their denim is excellent.

Yes

How is the fit? I have a pair of Skinner jeans and they fit terribly!

Try here. They've had a new shipment but don't seem to have updated the sizes on the site.

These are gorgeous! I'm trying to decide between these and the C&J Lowndes. C&J is less expensive, but the Caminas may be better shoes. Hard choice.

I've got the Carmina on the Inca (shown in the pic) in calf leather and the Lowndes in expresso suede. Both work very well with jeans.

Epaulet also carries their own version of the Carmina double monks.
