I hear a lot of hatred toward brands here, where "fashion" is equated with crap, or gimmick, etc.

What brand(s) do you find the most annoying?

For me it's the second-tier brands, such as Calvin Klein, or Kenneth Cole, which are trying to be fashionable and fail even at that (in addition to crap quality).

Gant by Michael Bastian. Don't want to knock the guy but for crying out loud design something that someone actually will want to wear. Elbow patches on a shirt is horrible. Got to take another sip of my Haterade now.

+1 His lacrosse line was a tiny step above Abercrombie&Fitch with their fake over usage of lacrosse imagery.

Kenneth Cole probably bothers me the most of all the second tier brands. It manages to fail at nearly every catagory that could be used to judge clothing.
Is it fashionable? No
Is it a timeless? No
Is it well made? No
Reasonably priced? No again.

Of course Affliction/Ed Hardy is in its own catagory.

Aldo. All my friends here in Canada wear Aldo. I don't have the heart/tactlessness to tell them their shoes are rubbish.

Over the top loud fashion:

i.e.
Moschino
Cavalli (absolutely awful)
Versace (only in small doses)
Tom Ford (quite OTT)
Dior Homme (for skinny kids, preferred Monsiur line)

Low quality brands but not cheap:

i.e.
CK
Polo RL (apart from their suits which are good)
and numerous others...

And oh I forgot, anything with Logos clearly visible, including visible polo players, knights on horses, shields, bees, stuff like that
