P&P prices are absurd. The price quoted for shipping a tie to France was upwards of 32 euros. I cancelled the order. I'll stick with Drakes, who can do next day delivery to France for under €15.

The sale is awesome. Ordered some drakes ties, a SAB umbrella, and john lobb's at 50% off.

Awesome sale...2 pairs of John Lobbs at 50% off. I'm surprised to see some folks complain that the retail pricing was above normal, but the John Lobbs I just purchased at 50% off were listed as the same retail pricing as Neiman Marcus and the local John Lobb boutique.

For the record, I picked up the Becketts and the brown City II's. Couldn't be happier considering I also didn't have to pay sales tax.

Sale? I just visited and didn't see anything on sale. Am I missing something? I noted their FAQ has a point about twice yearly seasonal sales that they will provide email notifications of - is that what you are referring to? Is it private? Appreciation in advance - I've got my eye on an item or two there.

Also doesn't seem to be in the UK, even for founding members.

Apparently so...

I got the founding member email, but I can't link to the sale. I thought I was a founding member but whatever.

Same in Ireland. Founding member, no email.

There is no "sale section" on the site for the Founding Members sale. I was confused, too, but it basically implies everything on the site is 50% off EXCEPT items marked as "new season" or "wardrobe staple." None of the John Lobbs were marked as either as far as I can recall, but most if not all the sunglasses are marked as "wardrobe staple." Nonetheless, you have to be signed in under your login and then place the item in your cart...go to checkout and then you will see the 50% discount. I hope that clears it up for some of you who want in on the sale...
