Hi everyone, Great looking shoes you guys have been picking up.  Over the weekend I found this "game" of speed shoe buying on Monday's. I have read this thread and think i figured out my size due to the helpful examples people have provided.  I haven't tried out a Viberg boot but have a Wolverine 1000 Courtland boot and have tried on the Allen Edmonds Long Branch.  For those Viberg owners, do the Chukka's or the Service boots with the Dainite soles feel more like a Wolverine 1000 or the Alden Indy or Long Branch, as far as, cushioned sole/comfort. So basically is it hard or somewhat forgiving/comfortable as far as cushioned insole.

Hope this makes sense and thanks for any feedback.

Have a great week and good luck if more shoes pop up for sale today.

I had the Viberg chukka with the Dainite sole, and I have had a number of shoes with the Dainite stud sole. It is somewhat hard, more like the sole on the standard 1000 mile boot - which I have also owned. I recently, only briefly, had a pair of Viberg boots with the Vibram sole - they were much more comfortable - for me at least. If you are going for comfort I would suggest the Vibram - I have a special order in right now with Viberg using a Vibram #1743 Bologna sole.

Hey everyone,

My apologies for the short notice, but we will not be posting another round of sale boots today. We're working on a few different projects simultaneously at the moment (we'll have an exciting announcement later today) and we did not have a chance to shoot the next batch yet. I'm going to try to get them done today, in which case i can put them up tomorrow, but i'll confirm here and on our Twitter account later today.
