I'm an old fart, so they are not my style - but they are super cool!

Do you guys think a Dainite, Commando, or Vibram Christy sole would look best on a black suede service boot?

I would go for the Dainite with natural edging. It would make a nice contrast.

dainite is THE sole to go for imo!...best for all seasons imo.

I've never worn a dainite sole before. What do they feel like?

I was kind of turned off about how they don't perform well in winter conditions

I have had them in winter here in New England - and they were fine. And they don't track mud or snow into the house.

well tbh. haven´t worn mine in winter yet, but shouldn´t be so bad...and the feel?! feels like every other "normal" sole imo.

nothing special and you don´t really notice that there´s a different profile as on a normal gum sole...

but if you´re looking for some "good" soles for winter, then i´d suggest a vibram 100 sole.

vibram 100 vs. vibram 430

does anyone have any reviews about the commando sole? in the photos it looks a bit clunky and ugly, not sure what to expect.

How long should I expect it to take for Viberg to get back to me after emailing a custom quote request?

I waited a week and heard nothing. Then I e-mailed Morgan directly and he got back to me in a day.
