Looking back in the thread, JohnnyRich7's shell pair are just too much handle. Gotta get that one made. The captoe is sick.

Here are some shots I posted a while back. Mahogany shell service boot from the sample sale. Truth be told, they are still brand new unworn! Just waiting for the right time, haha

@johnnyrich7 how much did you pay for your shell boots? It was less expensive than $1100 as they were a sample, right? They look sick.

You guys are really hooked on the cap toe. I think the appeal to the 2030 is how ******* sleek it is. I like my cap toes too, but definitely on a different profile.

I am a captoe fan as we'll - plain cap on 2045 or 310 is just the perfect 1930s work boot look to me. I 'd love to a build like that in one of the new make ups.

One of my best footwear purchases in years. Seriously considering preordering the brown CXL version as well. It's between that, a pair of 1000 miles or the classic Alden Indy

I need some sizing advice for the Viberg chukka. I take a UK10 in the Red Wing chukka. My feet are standard width and 28cm long. I've found the Red Wing chukka is more or less TTS. SHould I size down with the Viberg chukka?

Hey Scott, which Viberg Chukka do you have in mind? It depends on the last the Viberg is built on. I tried the 110 last in a size 9, which is my TTS US size and the Viberg 110 last was a little longer than a US 9 but was wider, maybe a E or EE in width. I hope this helps, most of the guys here are much more versed in Viberg but if you can point out which last you are looking at they may be able to help.

Viberg's are solid boots and I hope you find something that works

All the best

+1000

I sold Aldens to fund these same boots and couldn't be happier.
Putting aside the awesome good looks, tank-ish construction, and unique chromepak leather I love the way these give a totally different feel than my Aldens on the weekends.
