Me too. I would be beyond shocked if Barrie sizing doesn't work well for you.

You can do foot tracings and send them to Morgan at Viberg for his sizing recommendation as well

Have you guys been hit with customs/duties ordering from Viberg.com? I'm considering buying a pair but I'm worried about additional costs of shipping to the US.. =/
post #5163 of 6513
There are no customs or duties because it is a North American product.

I'm not sure about that. I'm located in Canada and I have paid import tax on a Made-in-Canada product that was shipped from the US. It was an Arc'teryx jacket and the duty charge was around $200.

On January 1, 1994, the North American Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Canada, and Mexico (NAFTA) entered into force.

All remaining duties and quantitative restrictions were eliminated, as scheduled, on January 1, 2008.

Was this a private transaction (ie. not from a business?).

I've gotten nicked a couple times having things shipped from Canada to the US. FedEx/UPS apply exhorbitant fees in the name of "handling charges". Only use Canada Post/USPS now.

Yes, that was a private and personal purchase and was made before 2008. So we are free from import tax!!!

If you "clear your own" couriers are often cheaper than post, but there is legwork involved.

The item may have been classified incorrectly and country of origin wasn't stated. But we're still responsible for paying taxes. For the waxed flesh service boots I paid $113 in GST and PST. Duty is an additional 20%.

That is an incredible deal for whomever gets them.  I am enjoying my SF version Service Boots.  Does anyone know the differences between the 2040 and 2045 lasts?  Can't really tell from the web pictures.

Rolling the dice on 'em half size below brannock. Guess I couldn't wait until I visited Viberg in a week to get sized for my first pair, after all :)
