The loden is slightly thicker than the CXL, which is definitely one of the thinner leathers out there.
I handled a lot of the CXL boots, and I have the loden green leather right in front of me. It is 2.0 mm thick, which is really thick leather. I don't have the CXL in front of me, but I remember it being distinctly less thick than this piece of leather.Um, you sure? I've seen that pic where the leathers are stacked and labeled, and it shows the CXL as the thickest leather. Not sure if it was this forum or another...
My CXL Viberg boots use pretty thick leather, and aren't lined anywhere but the toe.Yeah, CXL usually needs lining. The loden is thick enough that it does not need/have one ... 'cept @vamp, of course
The Loden Green Service boots are going in for sure. If you want a pair of these, and I've had several additional inquiries, please make sure to place your order by Dec 15: http://www.styleforummarket.com/vib...eorders-full-payment-free-shipping-worldwide/
