Viberg Boots - Page 31

Hi all, does anyone know which last the 66 hiker is on if not one of its own? And how it might fit in comparison to Rw's or Alden or Whites? Much appreciated.

I am an 11E in the Alden Trubalance and Barrie, and I have an 11E in the Hiker 66. I could probably have done a 10.5E but wanted a little toe room

noob question : the difference between the 1950 and the 1940 service boots is the toe cap ?

The toe cap on either boot is optional; same with the toe box.

The main difference, I believe, is that the 1950 Service Boot has a top band whereas the 1940 Service Boot doesn't.

Just picked up my ice mocha1950 service boot from the post office, the 8 fits like a glove! Thanks Viberg for the super fast shipping! Will take pics later tonight.

Congratulations! Any comments on the size issues? How do they compared to other sizes in boots such as Red Wing, Alden, etc.? I am looking forward to getting my service boots soon.

Gorgeous. Is this the 110 last?

Recieved my 1950 Service boots today.  They fit better than I expected.  These are 11 on what looks like the 110 last.  The fit is almost identical to my 11.5 US Alden Indy boots.  Hope this helps those looking to buy in the next rounds.

Viberg next to rw/bb colab boots, I'd say the viberg is definitely better built, and personally like the style better also. some people say they'd much rather own 2-3 pairs of rw over a pair of viberg, that's like saying you'd take 5 pairs of gap selvedge over a pair of Sam/ih, just doesn't make sense to me. If you can afford these, I'd definitely recommend them!

Can you comment on the sizing? Those were 8.5s right?

Just received mine today in the mail as well. I got 9 in the 1950 service boot and i am a 9 in Red Wings. I think i may have been able to size down a half size for a more snug fit but the 9s fit me just fit. a LITTLE bit more room in the toes but it's nothing noticeable really. AppleMark
