I have problems with shoes not being wide enough.  The leather is a bit stiffer than the CXL and thus has less stretch on the width.  I can do with the 7.5s but for now Im putting them aside.

In my situation, I sized the 2030 in my Barrie size per Guy's recommendation, but it turns out that the fit for me requires me to size down 1/2.

I generally wear 8.5D in Barrie and Trubalance, but I can also wear an 8E, and therefore I should have gotten an 8 in the 2030.

Thanks guys

B - what you are describing is exactly what I have experienced thus far.

The pair I have is unlined so I was wondering if there was a fit difference people were experiencing relative to the lined version.  I didnt think this was likely but wanted to see if anyone was experiencing that.

I'd love a black shell pair at 7.5 size....

My MTO arrived this week and I am very happy I got in just before the program was suspended.

Specs:

145 oxford
Copper task rough-out
Dainite sole
Natural midsole
Black stitching
Natural tongue
Antique brass eyelets

They also were kind enough to accommodate my request for the MTO stamp on the insole.

And Pics:

Very cool man, its a good look.  Good enough that they should consider selling it as a full time offering or at least do a public run.  I like the stamp too, thanks for sharing.

Wow, very handsome.

It's strange, less than a year ago I wouldn't have looked twice at such a shoe, now it's the cats.

Thanks, and my pleasure! I find these a nice alternative to a boot. Living in So Cal a boot is not always the most pleasant thing to be wearing on a warmer day, and I think that these still have the boot look, but without hugging my ankles.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I have never seen this produced, so it was a bit of a gamble, but I am happy with the results.

^ damn those look good

johhny rich, love the mto, nice touch with the insole stamp. i know some shoe makers will mark some part of the shoe with a short phrase or initials however but leather imprint is a nice touch

Thanks for putting the nail in my coffin of regret, for not picking up a pair, B. The navy shell looks awesome with jeans.  Thanks for the in-the wild photo, enjoy them.
