Viberg Boots - Page 177

On that note, I'm thinking that we do a service boot AND a 145 Oxford for the next StyleforumMarket makeup, one in a brown or grey brown CXL, and the other in a less scratchy leather that will nonetheless age really well.  I think the Service boot on a dainite sole and the oxford (and I need to pass this through Guy) on a  2-piece sole.  What do you guys think?

Cheers,

Fok.

I purchased the Cinnamon boot and to be honest my initial impression was of disappointment. I thought the colour was off, too light. However after spraying them, they got darker and with some wear and scuffing the colour is amazing now. Really loving the boot!

Here you go (although this is some serious wear): Viberg Service Boots – 18 months

Whoa that's some serious wear.

I see your a man who puts his boots to use. Thank you.

Anybody else have some pictures of Service Boots on the 2030 Last and Captoe with some wear on them.

They were from the final round of the sample sale. Very fortunate to have been first in line on them.

As far as details go: Mahogany shell cordovan, perforated unstructured captoe, brass eyelets, dainite sole, 2030 last, size 8.5

I think they are a pretty damn near perfect makeup.

Probably one of the simplest, but nicest makeups Viberg offers. Really shows off what make the boots so special. Great construction, quality materials, timeless design.

An Oxford like this would be great:

Or something even chunkier, like these Japanese Rolling Dub Trios:

For the service boot, how about going back to a more workboot look:  310 or 2045, plain cap toe, structured toe, with a tougher leather.  Maybe like this, but perhaps in black:

Well over 3 weeks later and both Canada Post and the USPS have no idea where this package is. USPS is investigating, but I'm probably out of luck.

I didn't load up on insurance on these because I didn't know how customs would work if I marked the value at full price and didn't want Viberg getting hit with any extra fees. So this could be an $1100 loss if they lost the package.

2014/01/14 09:53 VICTORIA The item was successfully returned to the sender.

Woohoo! Only took from 11/23 until now smile.gif

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I can't recommend the oxfords enough.

I ended up picking the oxfords and two pairs of service boots, one cordovan and the other in cxl, from the sample sale. I've gotten the most use out of the oxfords.
