I don't really know what to say about them. Maybe I'm being neurotic, but given the price point, I'm a bit disappointed honestly (by the right boot in case it's not clear from pictures). I guess I'll know better when I can see them in person...

The color is a lot lighter than i thought itll be but I dont dislike it

That was my impression of the color as well. Not what I was expecting, but still cool. Do you think I'm crazy about the instep there or whatever it's called on the right boot?

^^^ Not crazy, something's not right... Got any closer pics?

Well it's all relative of course. CXL used by Viberg is thinner than the Oil Tan produced for Viberg by Seidel, and so on.

Yeah something doesn't look right, maybe the angle of the photo. Hoping it's better in person. I mean their pricing is working for them though I think it's a bit high as well. They have the hype. Outside of the distinctive welt the first thing I thought well I opened the box was these are quite similar to Yuketens at double the price point

What exactly do you need? The one in that second set of spoiler tags is the closest I have. It's pretty big if you click it, then click original photo so it's full size. It's hard getting my sister to replicate the same angle on both boots for some reason biggrin.gif

Gents, a lot of size comparisons to Alden/truebalance and barrie lasts... but does anyone in this thread wear Wolverines 1000 Mile boots or Redwings Iron Rangers or Beckmans?
I'd be interested to know what you guys think of how the size compares?

Im typically a 9.5 in both boots, and Im not sure what the proper size would be in Vibergs (likely looking at the 2040 or 110 lasts)

I have been a big Viberg supporter, but I have to agree. Something looks off. I would be unhappy with these as well if they were mine.
yeah man, for the price point, I wouldn't accept those. Maybe I'm picky as well
post #2335 of 8264

I would be very disappointed if I were you. What can you do now? Are you able to return them to fix the issue?

I don't know really. I'm holding final judgment until I have a chance to see them in person, but then I will likely have to contact viberg and see what they are willing to do.
Forgive me if I am missing something obvious but what is the exact issue with the right boot?

It's easier to see if you go back and blow up the original images to full size.

Are those gunmetal eyelets?  You know the more I look at the leather, the more I like it.  :nodding:

Antique brass. Followed Fok's advice on that. The color is growing on me as well. Looks even better on this monitor than it did on my other one lol8[1].gif
