Viberg Boots - Page 1210

Quick question, do any of you guys have a preference on a boot sock to wear with your vibergs? I dont want anything super thick and warm, but it needs to have more substance than a dress sock. I might add that I would prefer to stay around $10/pair

I usually wear either Anonymous.ism or Hill-side. They are above $10/pair but are on sale at the end of every season.

The tricky thing for rallying people around an idea is knowing what leather is available.  I know that info might not be readily available but if you were able to get some indication it might help quite a bit.
Agreed. My impression of the last MTO round was that it went extremely well thanks to the fact that we had an initial list of leather options.

How about this:

5 eyelet scout boot, dainite sole, perhaps a rounder last like 2045 (though 2030 would look great also), hopefully in some kind of cool leather like horse.

This would also look cool with 4 eyelets and a couple of speed hooks, which I've seen in the distant past on their scout boot.

Could also be done on a wedge sole for more of a street look, but they always do these on the wedge so I was thinking something else might be cool.

I´m in for the Scout Boot. Most underrated boot imo. The Bison with large ripple sole was a killer but only 4 pairs were made due to the shortage of  leather. Would love to see that one!

Throwing this out there - olive bison scout boot on 2030 with 5 eyelets, side zip, unstructured, contrasting mid- sole and vibram christy sole.

I believe only Natural blk Bison and Natural Bison in Tan are available.  Oh and forget about a stitch-down Chelsea that will never happen.

I would be down for a natural bison scout boot on 2045 with big ripples. Basically, a fat hunter.

I'm liking these scout boot suggestions. But dude- no side zip on a lace up boot. It's a metaphysical problem for me.

Decent wool socks are always more than $10. Smartwool casual socks (not their hikers) are great. On sale they'll be close to $10. Darn Tough have also served me well. I think these from Orvis are made by Darn Tough and are $50/3 pack. Great boot socks and they really last.

That's fine I just threw it out there. It's not a deal breaker for me at all.

Just checked them out.

Orvis is running a $25 off any purchase of $50 or more with FALL25 code.

The socks of course are $49.

I love my Darn Though socks, but for everyday wear I have a ton of Costco Kirkland socks.  The Kirkland socks don't hold up long term, but for the low price they can easily be replaced.
