Viberg Boots - Page 121

^ 310 mate...

Thanks. I couldn't recognize it from that angle. I'm always used to seeing the 310 last from a near-profile shot with its square unturned toe.

^ it actually was that way...after some hard wear it collapsed nicely though!...

Has anyone confirmed what the US-size at Barneys (http://www.barneys.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-BNY-Site/default/Product-Show?pid=502448623&q=viberg&index=0) corresponds to in terms of Viberg's typical sizing? Is a 10 Medium (43 EU, 9UK) at Barneys a size 10 from Viberg or a size 9?

I once bought a Viberg size 9 but Barney wrote 10US on the box.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

Had a chance yesterday to stop by the store Sixteen in NYC to check out their Viberg builds in person, the Olive Chromepak Service Boot and the Blue Latigo 110 boot with Christie sole.  I really liked the "Latigo" leather, which seems to be midway between a lustrous CXL and a tougher oil tan.  Not sure what the process is for making it, but I 'd love to see it in other colors.  The Chromepak was closer to CXL, maybe nearly the same (again, I don't really know the process) and it was a very cool boot.  The Chromepak was a more standard build and therefore almost sold out.  They still had several sizes of the blue latigo boot, which is not exactly my style, but for anyone interested in some color and style in their Viberg (and don't mind the wedge sole) it was a cool boot for sure...

Weather is finally cooling off. Just took out my brand new pair of scout boots for the first time in a while. I had forgotten how beautiful they are.

IMO the 160 last is underrated.

edit: Color kind of messed up in the photo. The eyelets are bronze and the stitching has a very slight contrast. Hard to do the boots justice with my cell cam.

They are Maxum rubber soles. Very heavy duty.

Hey guys. Just a heads up that we will be releasing three Chromexcel Service Boots at around Noon today. All of them are on the 2030 last and have a full Dainite Sole. There is Black, Icy Mocha and Colour 8. The initial runs are very small but we will definitely try to restock quickly depending on how they sell. Contact us if you have any questions.

I've been lurking here and on the special order threads but the above Service Boots are really right what I'm after. Pardon the sizing question, but if I'm a 10D in Red Wing and also Alden Leydon, 11 in most sneakers would I go with a 10 in the 2030 last Service Boot?

Viberg sizing is somewhat similar to UK sizing.  Which means you should size down by 1/2-1 size depending on how you like your fit.

^thanks. That would make me more like 9.5 I think.

I've seen the advice of sizing down either a whole or a half.

I'm afraid to do a whole size down. If I do a half and its still big I guess I can always put an insole in there.
