Viberg Boots - Page 120

^^ Beautiful boots. I'd be curious to hear a little more about the sizing. I know that this has been discussed to death already, but the 2030 last remains a bit mysterious. Can you tell us a little more about what size you ordered and also what size you wear in other boots and shoes?

Instead of the the group saying to size half down or your Barrie last size, I went a full size down from my usual size. My foot width is pretty average (D) while people on the forum seem to have pretty wide feet. The boot fits perfectly for me. If your foot is not wide, I'll suggest you go full size down.

Thanks for the report. As it happens, I did order a full size down. I'm 9.5 (US) and I ordered an 8.5. My Barrie size is 9D. From the various reports that sounded like the better choice. Your experience seems to confirm that. I suppose we should all report back once we get our boots. Then there might need to be a Viberg sizing thread.

Do you have flat feet? How much room in front of your feet?

I'm the same size in viberg (size 8 and i can even squeeze into size 7.5 without feeling uncomfortable standing still) and my Alden's are 8.5 (Barrie last). I'm 8.5 C/D in whites too except for the northwest cougar which seems to run half size bigger.

Sorry, should be US 8E on SD.

Anyway, I actually got high arches & insteps.
I wear medium to heavy weight socks + "Superfeet" half-insoles on most of my work boots for heel cushion & arch support.

However, I wear light to medium weight socks w/o insoles on both Trickers & Viberg, so they're sized accordingly.

Just wanted to say about "Viberg".....They are by far some of the nicest people I have dealt with either on or off line.

Very impressed.
