Thanks Guy, and yes he beat me to it b-ewing, lined vamp, they feel beautiful on, even from day 1 it was like a pair of slippers.

Arizor, how did you size the 110? I believe you have both the 2030 and Aldens. I would love to know how you sized relative to each. The boots look great!

Arizor - which last (110 or 2030) fits better & more comfy for u? I have an Oxford in the 2030 last & is eyeing another pair, but it's on the 110 last. Hence, a little on the fence. I do not like it too roomy & I heard the 110 fits like EE in Alden. I have narrow feet.

Hey guys,

Rydenfan - The 9.5 Vibergs I'm selling are on the 2030 last. They are half a size too small. In fact my left foot is half a size bigger than my right (10.5vs10), so they're really a size too small for my left foot, but with a bit of stretching a 10 in 2030 would fit me fine.

My 110s are size 10. Fit like a glove from day 1, my left foot is definitely filling the boot lengthwise, maybe a tad much, but absolutely no discomfort.

Dino19 - I have narrow feet (as a size 10.5 Viberg my left foot is still only 10.8cm in width).

The 2030 fit lovely, the 110 are roomier but a beautiful fit too; no slippage at all.

To summarise: I would take the same size in both 2030 and 110. The 2030 are longer, but the 110 are wider. If you're comfortable in a particular size on one of the lasts, choose the same size for the other last, you should be fine.*

*disclaimer - no two feet (even on the same person) are alike, so take this for what it's worth.

Arizor what is your brannock sizing?

Any other boots and their sizes?
I would like to add that, from my personal experience, for some people with high arch feet (myself included), the major problem with the 110 last is not that its too wide, but that the front part is a bit too low.

After seeing these lovely boots on the official website, I am becoming quite interested in the (new?) 2045 last. If people could share some experience that would be great. Thanks

Stevent - no idea on my Brannock sizing, but in Viberg measurements (as advised by Morgan after looking at my foot tracing), I am a 10.5 left foot/10 right foot in Viberg.

So generally I go for a 10, and the left boot stretches to accommodate.

I'm also a 10 in Alden Trubalance, 11 in Alden Plaza, 43 in Common Projects Achilles (but I like a *tight* fit with thin socks in all my trainers), 11/11.5 in Converse.

Again, what works for me may not work for you; I wear different gauge socks for different boots/sneakers, and like a very defined feel for my shoes (others like a loose fit).

Thanks Arizor.

I wonder if I should go for size 8 or 8.5 for 110.

For 2030 last I'm going with 8.5.

I have 2040 lasted boots in size 8 and the fit is spot on.

I'm 9D TTS and wear the following:

Alden Trubalance Indy in 8.5D (amazing fit)
Alden Plaza boots in 9D (fit is right but right foot can use a bit of room in width)
Alden Barrie shoes in 9D (perfect)
Carmina Rain and Inca lasts in 9D
Common Projects Achilles in 42 (perfect fit)
MMM GAT in 42 (a bit tight but not uncomfortable)

Depends on how the length suits you Steel.

The length for the 110 is noticeably shorter than the 2030 (or 2040, afaik).

So, if your foot fits nicely into the length of the 2030 in a size 8.5, get an 8.5 in the 110, as if you go 8, your toes might be poking out the end.

Steel,

Have you confirmed this sizing works best for you? The reason I ask is that I am:

I am 8.5D TTS

8D Trubalance (a bit big and I wear an insole)
8D Barrie (fits perfect)
8.5D or 8E Plaza boots
7.5UK Trickers 4497 (a bit big but good)
7.5UK Tirckers 2161 (fits perfect)

I had originally ordered my 2030 boots in a 7.5 as it matched my Trickers sizing and was a half size down from my Barrie sizing. After talking with Morgan and sending him my foot tracings he felt I should be going with the 8 as opposed to the 7.5

I know defiantly from a lot of suggestions in this thread that for 2030 last it best to go with your Trubalance size or .5 size from my TTS. So for 2030 I'm 100% going with 8.5. Now I'm almost positive based on Arizor's finding about 110 being short that I'm also planning to go with 8.5.

FYI a friend of mine has these boondockers in size 10 and he wears Alden indy (shell cordovan, if that makes any difference) in 10.5. I am told both pairs fit him well.

I myself am between size 8 and 8.5 in alden (barrie last) and my 110 lasted vibergs are size 7.5. I put in some thin taco insoles and wear thin socks with them. There is only about 1/3 inch left between the tip and my toes. I dont "feel" they are too short, but my heels have complained loudly - I end up getting blisters on my heels after a 10 minute walk every time. The part where the leather is sewn together is killing me.

My other oxfords (310, 160) are size 8, they are a lit bit long as my heels slip up a lit bit when I walk. But that does not bother me much and I can say I feel comfortable in them. Besides that, I can always wear thicker socks and use insoles with more cushion. They feel comfortable from day one but I am not sure if its the size or the last that fit me better.

I have not worn my only pair of boots outside so I can't say much about the fit yet. I am usually size 9D (or 9C if I have such options) in nike, new balance etc. Size 8-8.5 in red wing / whites.
