any wide footers go TTS on the 2030? Wondering if that would work for me or if that would be too much length.

8 E/EE here and I take 7.5 on the 2030 and it fits well after the initial break-in. TTS would feel too long.

how long was your initial break in?

@Akeem

I wear my Barrie in 7E and the 2030 in 7 was too tight in the toes and vamp. I haven't had a chance to try on the 2030 in 7.5 yet though.

My true barrie size is probably between 7E and 7.5E. I can wear 7.5E comfortably with medium to thick socks. I've tried the 2030 in 7 and 7.5. 7 was way too small. The 7.5 is the right length, but my toes felt pressure in width on my right foot. I am considering trying one more size before I completely give up on the 2030.

I'm an 8E and find the 2030 in 7.5 the right compromise, though a touch long, as a 7 is too tight in the toes.

About 2 week break-in. They felt bit tight across the toes initially but after breaking in they are very comfortable. My 2030 are the reverse "unicorn" scout boots, so maybe with a stiffer leather you'd have a longer & more unpleasant break-in period.

I just picked up a pair of matte black derby shoes from the sample sale on ebay.

This is a bit of a long shot... but can anyone suggest a matte black belt that matches the leather Viberg uses?

I think you may have trouble finding a decent leather match.

I would suggest a black cxl belt from the likes of Rancourt.

Was lucky to get a proxy from the sample sale (didn't really have a choice but gave the guy some preferences and ended up with these) - Black Italian Horsehide Service Boots on GYW
