I was even contemplating trying to find a pre owned engineer on the 310, in order to kill two birds with one stone. It might have been a bit too much for my wardrobe though. I prefer the flat toe on engineers, which is why I picked up the brown cxl engineers from .com a few weeks ago. It seems to me that as soon as I purchase a pair, another grail is released right in the same timeframe. I need to layoff for a while. I love the 310s though! Extremely comfortable and I love the upturned toe!

Wow. These look amazing in this colour. I have a tan roughout on a 310 commando sole and its one of my favourite pairs.

Heres an old pic i posted 3 years ago. Its gone through a lot of wear in harsh Canadian weather, and still looks the same to this day.

In case anyone was curious.  This is 310 Aged bark roughout as compared to the straight bark

I was on the fence because they are so similar but I do like them both, the RO is hairy (in a good way) and the toe cap as has been mentioned looks good on this version.

I also want to mention that they are the same exact marked size and they definitely do not feel the same in length and width (the picture is not deceiving).  I think in the end the fit will be similar enough with wear that it would not warrant changing but I wanted to point out the variance. Not to instigate a QC discussion just to show that no two are ever the same and sizing advice on the internet while helpful can never truly dial it in.  I have this theory that the RO versions are always lasted a little tighter, but I have no way to substantiate that other than from personal experience.

Hmm, very similar to my eyes to OSB's Elston last... which I like pretty well for looks, but which always crowded my toes where the toe sprung from below without also giving more toebox room  -- unlike the rounded toe of the 310 (if this makes sense..).

Just picked up a pair of buffalo Vibergs second hand and the leather is a little dry. Any recommendations for the kind of conditioner that is appropriate for this type of leather? Could Bick 4 or VSC work?

I'd say Bick 4 would be best for hydration although Im sure both would be fine.

I have used venetian and neutral shoe cream on mine.  Both work well.

Last? Pictures? Definitely interested.

Not sure if this is allowed, mods delete if not.

I'm trying to move a pair of my vibergs if anyone's interested. Only worn to try on, they didn't fit me. They're the collaboration between Tate and Yoko and Viberg back in 2014 when T+O still worked with Viberg.

While I have been pretty adamant about Stitchdown, the Camel Derbies look good in the pics.  Im not interested in them for a few reasons but they are one of the better GYW models I have seen.
