Nope. Viberg's fashion line only come in a fixed width per last.

Those 310's would be copped if not for the cap toe. I like the Aged Bark version for Beijing a bit more.

New boots have cleared customs and are on their way. Now lets see if they make it before Saturday :lurk:

Both are really great makeups. Not sure if I can justify it with all my recent purchases. How's the fit feel vs the 110 or other Viberg lasts?

240 last has two widths as far as I remember.

Just to add to the ongoing sizing questions:

I have found that the 110 is a funny last. I tried to wear it in the same size as my 2030/1035 and it was too short in the toe box for my big toe. I also can't imagine sizing up as it would have been too wide at that point.

For this reason I have had to give up the awesome chukkas I just got from 14oz. Luckily for me, since I purchased them they put up these bad boys for sale, which I have now ordered and await:

Aviv,

I'll be interested in hearing what you find out about sizing comparisons once you try out your Short Shift engineers. I only own one pair of Vibergs, engineers on 2005 last size 10D, and hope to branch out from there to other lasts while trying to minimize sizing mistakes. Recognizing that all feet are different...

Starting out with the 2005 last wasn't very helpful as engineers aren't the most popular boot in this thread!

I tried them on in the past. I ordered the same size I take in all other lasts. I did notice that on a new pair they seem slightly shorter, but I suspect that's because you need to break in the heel a bit and get it to mold to your foot. When I tried on a new pair my toes kept sliding all the way to the front but I'm convinced it's just a matter of breaking them in. A half size bigger and I'd have been swimming.

I would say you should be safe in your same size in other lasts- the 110 being the exception for me personally.

Guys, I've owned a pair of natty cxl service boots for a while now but I've never been fond of the bright brass eyelets. Is there a way to change them out for gunmetal or silver? Possible to go blind on them, even?

Is this something a local cobbler can do?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Blind isn't realistic, as the holes are too big.

Replacing the eyelets with a different color is easy for a cobbler that is able.

motojobobo,

I have an engineer boot on the 2005 last. I take a size 9.5 in the 110 and 2005 last.  I wear a size 10 in the 2030 last.  I have some room lengthwise in my 2030s, but the width is nice and snug. A size 9.5 in 2030 would be too tight width wise.  I wear a size 11.5 in new balance and nikes.  11 in PF flyers.  I also wear a 10D in Alden trubalance and modified last.  I have a somewhat high instep and I'm somewhere in between a D and E width.  Hope this helps you.

The 310 does come in both D and E widths -- I had a 9E briefly. But they probably won't offer any in E this round.

Viberg "Licorice" Bison MocToe Chukka: Version 2.0 wink.gifwink.gif

Voila! Like new again.
The original honey/olive wasn't evo-ing very well, IMO. Plan was to DIY dye them to light-mid brown__ instead, they turned much darker w/ red undertone after a double coat.

They're almost black & opaque, but will lighten up a bit & show more texture, as the dye thins out from brushing & wear ... as a result, the reddish undertone will peek out ... kinda like how an overdyed denim fades 🤓
