Viberg Boots - Page 1090

I think the 2040 is a better last for my foot than the 2030. But I'm a huge fan of the 110 and I have some Whites on a similar (same) last. Much better for work boots.

That sounds great.  I've done so many purchases and returns the past few weeks trying to get my sizing down, and I think I've finally figured it out.  I will find out when I receive my two boots this week.

Thanks

Celastic siffener sheets used for toe puffs (and other things) are sometimes sold as 'ping pong' toepuff sheets

Where did you get USPS tracking info for your 14oz order?  I got a DHL germany number but all it says is "The shipment is being transported to the delivery depot" for the last 10 days.

Try entering that German number at USPS.

What ShootThePier said...enter the German tracking number into USPS tracking and it should work if it's out of Germany and in the USA - even if it's in customs.

Do you have any pics on feet of the grey calf derbies?

I sent them back already. no pictures, sorry

Looking good.

So does anyone else find that the 110 in the same size as their 2030 is too small lengthwise? I have only tried on the chukka in the 110 and the service boot on the 2030, so maybe the different styles make a difference?

110 is definitely shorter than the 2030. I have some extra room in the toebox in 2030, so the same size in 110 works for me.

Yeah I tried that and nothing came up.  Funny thing is, I went home for lunch to let the puppy relieve herself and my 14oz shipment was on my doorstep!

Just now got these babies from USPS and shot a few pics.

They are the black horsehide derbies on .com....The pics make em look a little brownish but they are def. all black. Almost as black as the laces.

Interestingly, with thick socks, these 1035's are slightly snugger at the toe box compared to my 1035 Reverse Kudus(both 10.5's). Not by much-but I can wear any thickness socks with these which is nice.

The leather is lightly variegated sorta like the bison leather.

Slightly variegated leather?!?! Someone had better warn Viberg of their slipping quality control and unacceptable behavior. Can you believe how far they've fallen from grace? I may soon go back to Frye.

wink.gif cool shoes man! You and I are the same size. Maybe we can help each other out.
