Thanks... I think.  I somehow managed to buy two pairs of shoes today unexpectedly.  They either put some more sizes online or got some returns or something, because I picked up a derby in my size that wasn't available before when the sale was initially posted.  Have you received your order yet?

Not yet.  Made it to San Francisco yesterday though.  I'm concerned about the derby fitting different from the service boot though.

that sucks. I have a similar issue with the 2030 with tightness on the big toe, but usually after a good 4-5 hours of wear. my toe feels numb by the end of the day. didn't have anything like this with the 2045.

1035 is great for me. 2040 pretty good so far. Early to tell. I've never tried 2045 but I'm sure it would be good.

I was going to say, sounds like you're a classic Munson last guy, and the 2045 is the closest Viberg had to that.

I wouldn't say it's out further, but it's almost a straight line, like there is very little taper past the ball of my foot. It just goes straight out.

I've had to pass on so many beautiful shoes because of it.

What size 2040 worked?

What do you normally wear?  I'm 2030 size 8 in boots, 1035 7.5 derby, 2040 7.5 boots, 110 7.5 boots, and 7.5 2030 (a bit snug but I only tried on - I think 8 would be too big) in oxford pattern.  I've had 1035 size 8 in derby and it was too big.

11.5, same as 1035.

10 in 2030. 9.5 in 110. Ordered a 10 in matte black calf derby from 14 oz. They said it is in the 2030, but I'll have to see when they are delivered. I have some extra length in my 2030s due to the width I need. Knowing boots can be a bit more forgiving fit wise, I'm hoping the derbies aren't too long for me.

For you 14 oz guys: mine finally cleared NYC customs and based on where they are now I expect to see them tomorrow. Will update accordingly - looking forward to seeing if this is really grain side copper task leather on the chukka. Drew was able to confirm they are indeed 110.

Mine cleared customs in San Francisco, just awaiting the journey down to L.A.  I have no idea what to expect with this one, but have no doubt it will be a winner.  I'm thinking grain side copper task.  I was 99.9 percent sure it was 110.

Tomorrow you should get some from me! Side bar: I noticed 14oz has set there prices and are no longer deducting VAT from sale Vibergs. Looks like you and I really made off like bandits because I paid the sale price with a 19% discount that was automatically put in place by their site. I think it came to something like 420ish USD. Best deal I've ever landed on Vibergs! Such a great pair to boot! Punny, isn't it?)
