Viberg Boots - Page 1076

They should get here soon. I emailed the completed customs declaration to the relevant body last night, and so now it's just a case of the wheels of bureaucracy to grind slowly and release my package.

I am looking forward to them though. Just hoping that it doesn't take too long for the clearances to be, well, cleared.

Thanks for letting me know the postage cost yesterday. It might be worth breaking that out separately on customs declarations in future.

We don't break out the postage value because the postage is considered as part of the price - we offer worldwide shipping included, just so that it's a "what you see if what you pay", rather than having a base price, and then having additional fees (shipping, packaging materials, coffee for the fulfillment people, etc...)

You don't supply the fulfilment people with coffee?!? :butbut:

It makes sense the way you do it, but (unfortunately) it's no so convenient for dealing with the Aussie customs. There's probably a big-footed guy in the bonded warehouse trying out my boots as we speak!

Just received my Natty WF from Notre.  The 110 last is perfect at a full size down from brannock with thick socks, slightly loose in the heel and toe box with thin socks.

They're beautiful and I like the makeup, but alas I think they're going to be up for sale soon. The 110 last has the same issues as 2030 for me, which is the excessive taper on the big toe side.

You really need to cut your Big toe off...I am shocked that this is an issue with this last...I thought it was roomy up front. So your big toe is actually out further from the furthest part of your foot? Man I can see that being a real issue with lots of shoes...that blows.

Does the 2040 fit you? that seems as tighter in the toes or as tight as the 2030 on the big toe side.

Yes. 11.5 in each. I had tried a 12 in 2030, and while the length was good, it was just too big everywhere else. I don't think 110 would work in 12 either as the quarters on the chukkas already almost touch.

I've only worn my 2040 mini ripples a couple times and they seem great. It's true about my big toes. They suck. While cutting them off might be excessive, perhaps just a bit off the end would work.

I wouldn't say it's out further, but it's almost a straight line, like there is very little taper past the ball of my foot. It just goes straight out.

I've had to pass on so many beautiful shoes because of it.

Looks great.  If I didn't have the same make up in the brown WF I would've been all over these.

Looks great!  If anyone bought them in a 9.5 and wishes they hadn't, please let me know!

Maybe my favorite make-up Viberg has done, I'll be receiving mine tomorrow. Thank god for Notre keeping 110 alive.

14oz put a couple more Vibergs on sale.  White derby and an engineer boot. The engineer boot looks like it's icy mocha cxl, but I'm not sure.

Like those too, but I have so much brown already. Captoe and they may have been irresistible.

Thanks... I think.  I somehow managed to buy two pairs of shoes today unexpectedly.  They either put some more sizes online or got some returns or something, because I picked up a derby in my size that wasn't available before when the sale was initially posted.  Have you received your order yet?
