Someone might as well get the reverse of regular leather (suede, roughout, etc.) for the same effect and probably less cost (assuming you are still being charged shell prices for the reverse shell).

ad nauseam

I think that the reverse shell will wear tough as nails (better than regular leather), but show some cool patina, due to the nature of the shell.

I kind of wish it wasn't black or blue shell, but one of the browns.

Here is my wallet...it is black on the outside and a really nice olive green on the inside.

OK, I guess it's now time to complain that it's made on the 2030 last smile.gif

Got the 3sixteen 2040 boondocker. Seems like this is a mini version of the 2045 last. I find it a nice balance between the 2030 and the 2045. Took same size as all of my others and fit is great.

This rough out is a much finer nap that the pair from club Monaco and while both boots are unstructured the toe on the 2040 seems like it will hold shape better which I am happy for. I assume that is due to the less horizontal volume of the toe box.

Also the sole which I really thought was going to be much more white is much to my delight more of a bone color.

Someone correct me if Im wrong but isnt reverse shell just the same material without any dye on it. The inside of my unlined boots feels the same and any tongue Ive ever had from Alden that isnt lined feels exactly the same.

The inside of my unlined boots has developed a cool look to it.  I'm not buying these but not because they're reverse shell.

From Nick Horween re reverse shell:

"It is just the unfinished side. The inside of those boots will be our regular black shell. The green color comes from hot water dip the shells receive - as the day goes on the water takes on some of the dye, effectively dip-dying the grain side."

You know the nearer your destination, the more you dip dying away

To me it would have been cooler if the color was more uniform like with Layer-0 boots, but I suppose that is the point with these Vibergs.  The color is not uniform.

^cause they don't sell here. I've tried to get support for a 310 in two GMTO's and got basically squat.

Those look great above. Even better if plain toe.

Very nice 310. I want a captoe pair, ChopChop not so much. Haha.
