Haha.... I apologize. I did not realize this was a "do not discuss" topic..... I like the 8's but I think the 9 and 10's look the best. Originally I would have said exposed but I ran across some pictures of the painted ones they did some time back. They look amazing, minus the paint.

Thanks, they do have some great deals available. Unfortunately nothing in my size 9 with +7 eyelets. I will definitely keep looking for new listings though.

Used to be 2-3 times a year. There may not be a next one. It is unknown.

I regret passing on those.  Since it was right around the same time as the Mahogany I couldn't justify both.  Are there any plans to produce another makeup using the triple layer butts?  The engineer boots they made for himel bros looked great as well!

When I first got these I had asked Fok about it and in a matter of seconds he said no for a GMTO however I do not know nor heard if they plan on using it again. I did email them but did not hear back. I am not much of a Hiker boot or Engineer boot fan but I would cop either done in this leather. I also am still curious if this leather is ever done in a color other than brown.

Everything I've heard indicates the triple layer horse butt won't be duplicated.  I'm very glad I bit the bullet and got the horse butt and mahogany shell. The horse butt is my most interesting boot in my collection from the hide itself...to the soles.  It's a tank in every way possible.  I own a lot of Viberg and Alden boots in many colors, mainly shell.  The horse butt is the most different of all the hides I have.  Not the best looking, not the most comfortable...yet; but breaking in nicely.  I hope this hide does make into another style at some point.  Context sold out of the boots, the belts, watch straps and suspenders in this material!

On IG Brett Viberg responded to a comment saying they'll be doing a shell makeup in the coming months. Might finally be my time...
