And huge Bratwurst sausages on a tiny bun, for a really inexpensive but satisfying lunch.

There are other lasts. I'll ask Guy whether there are any wider than the 110, but ime, the 110 is pretty generous. It's not quite as wide as the Trickers 4444 last, which is ridiculous (I wear a 9 UK in that, and there is room. I am not like that for any other last, anywhere else). but it is probably wider than the same size 4497 Trickers last, which is pretty generous already.

I am a 7.5 in Viberg's 110 last. The length is fine, but pinky toe area is tight. I also wear following shoes.

  • UK 7.5 in Trickers's 5 last: same issue around pinky toe
  • US 8.5 in Red Wing's 23 last: pretty roomy around toes
  • US 8.5 in Danner's EE last: pretty roomy around toes
  • US 8.5 in Alden's trubalance last: comfortable
  • US 9.5 in any sneakers

I probably should have gone with a half size up to avoid any issue around pinky toe though, then they might have fitted a little too loose all over. I strongly believe that the fit needs to be almost perfect otherwise that thick leather & ultra heavy weight construction will definitely kill your feet after a half hour of wearing.

Thanks for the info pasteurisation, I think I'll go half a size down from my Trubalance size for 110. Those Boondockers are calling my name...

The pictures are for illustration only. Please read the description for full details. There are no pictures of the boots, because none have been made yet. To answer your specific questions, no, the boots will not be predistressed, though I'd be happy to drag them up and down my driveway a few times at your request. And yes...

It's a deposit. You may choose to pay the full amount, but the 50% non-refundable deposit is how we do the preorders.

Is there any way to have product descriptions expanded by default? It can be really easy to miss/forget about reading the details.
