^ that's the makeup they did for Andrew of 3Sixteen. Been thinking about a custom service boot makeup as well. Anyone have any experience with customs from Viberg?

What was the total price of Andrew's custom boot? Love these colors. Also, does anyone know how the build quality compares to Alden?

I'm no expert, but I have both Alden and Viberg boots and the Vibergs seem to be of higher quality. The materials are really nice and the construction looks top notch to me. The Vibergs are also much more substantial boots and can handle heavy wear and still look great.

For the service boot, it will start around $550 plus shipping.

We place custom orders for our customers all the time- it's very flexible and as long as they have the leathers and soles, any kind of make up can be ordered.

I've called Viberg the last two days and the woman who's helped me is super cool. She said they don't have a custom option you'd like on the page that lets you customize your boots (for instance there's no option to add the perf toe cap like on that harness leather boot) just put a message with all your specs in with the order and they'll contact you if there's a problem.

And yeah, that brown harness leather is the jam, but they told me they're having trouble sourcing it at the moment so it's not available.

What I want to know is if anyone has seen a boot with a 'partially structured' toe. Apparently they do a toe box where the sides have some structure to them, i imagine with plastic or something similar, but the top of the toe is just leather. Anyone notice any on the blog?

Can't wait to move back to the west coast and give viberg a visit. I'm in the market for a good pair of lasting boots these days. Anybody have an idea of how long a custom order takes?

Best to check with them to make sure, but I believe it's around 4 months right now.
