So there is no difference then? Just that Nigel Caborun has vastly better photos on his website? Thanks for this though, appreciated. Hoping to pick a pair up in the next couple of months.

I originally thought that the 2030 was the shit for all Vibergs and the end all be all, but now having seen more photos, I think the 2045 has a great profile and top down look to it, and the 1035 and 110 are also awesome.

Top down look of 2045 boondocker:

Heard but not sure future release of boondocker from Viberg will not be stitchdown

Brooklyn carries a lot of great Vibergs but when I walked in these jumped out at me.  They have some texture on the sides that give them character.  I have the bison and these are as interesting but in a different way.  The owner and staff were helpful and easy to talk to.  If you are ever in Calgary you need to stop in.  A great selection of jeans and jackets also.

So true

I am hopeful we can do a stitchdown boondocker on the GMTO round. A stitchdown boondocker with a corded sole on a non-2030 last is really what I want.

I'm interested, but would there be something special about the GMTO vs. the other boondocker makes out there (Oak st., Truman)?

Yes, we will see which leathers will be available for the next round.

Natty CXL from previous SFGMTO

And a structured toe. Otherwise you can find the boots you're describing at Cabourn's.

Structured toe is key. Also, looks like Cabourn has only one size left in their Boondocker, and probably that's the end of stitch down Boondockers (unless the SF GMTO goes through).

Structured toe boondocker on 110 would be awesome.

2045 even better!

Boondocker with structured toe works for me. I can go with 110 or 2045, with a preference for 2045. Hopefully we can gain a successful following for this during the next GMTO.

I'd prefer 110 since 2045 is quite regularly available but it probably wouldn't be a dealbreaker.

I love this profile shot from one of the GMTOs a while back, I think it would be awesome on commando/vibram 430
