Fok, is there any reason why we couldn't copy that chukka, minus the stitched Cabourn "Broad Arrow," if there were enough support for it?

I would support a chukka but do not want rough out or a wedge sole. Would need to be dainite. How about natty cxl?

I'm fine with dainite or cat's paw.

If someone can get a 310 through, I'd be impressed. Depending on details I may be down.

Aesthetics also depend on the size and proportions of the wearer. I've got a pair of Vibergs on the 2030 last, and they're an inch or so longer than my Red Wings. Being a size 14 US that exaggerates my feet the wrong way.

So I reckon that a pair on a 2040 last would look better on me than the 2030. Sure, the boot might not be as pretty, but I'm more interested in the big picture.

How? Where?

lots of begging and sobbing. big thanks to Brett and the gang for great customer service.

I saw they are putting up a pair for auction. What's the over/under on the final price?

I would be so down for a black shell with antique sole service boot.

what were they doing before? isn't this standard?

Chillin' til we get an update on leather availability ... sometimes, it's the leather that dictates the build, IMO.

I'm going for less common skins__ we've seen different textures of Bison [from more subdued zug/pebble grain-like, to the more exotic, reptilian steez. I'd like to see some Camel colors. 'Seems the leather got character__ would like to find out more about it & how it evos.

I don't need another Porshe engine hiding in a VW hood ... eg, another iteration of the Boondocker. I want an SF GMTO that floats & not mingle ... If that makes sense🤓

I like the 310 enthusiasm!

How about something like this:
Horse leather
5 eyelets
Pull tab

Just dreaming here. Not married to any one detail aside from 310 and horse.

PSA, I'll be posting up a pair of natural cxl service boots from Lost & Found's pre-order, 2030 last, size 8; brand new in box, just tried on when received.  Just need to trim down the collection.  PM me if you want dibs on them, otherwise the posting will be up this weekend

You might say that, but we'll end up with several brown Service Boots on the 2030 last!

True😕 ... But, we managed to white-knuckle the Hopper through, dint we ?!

Edit:
Since I don't have the Scout in my stable, I'm eager to score a pair, this time ... or maybe a Country Derby__ depending on the leather & color that will be available. Hopefully, on a 2045 or 110, even a 310, if push comes to shove.

Yeah a Country Derby with tan horse vamp and  roughout quarters with captoe/ part structured toe  on 2045 or 110 would be awesome or Country Derby with Navy latigo vamp and reverse Midnight Kudu quarters with captoe would be great on same lasts

@LA Guy-I ordered the HoF remix:Natural CXL Service Boot back on 8/13. Paid in full. This was a boot that was offered for a make good on one of the SF make ups that got cut I think. Anyways...will this boot be produced? If not how does refund happen?

Thanks!

Steve

I like that, but how about 8 gold/brass eyelets (depending on leather for contrast). I do like the mocha oil tan roughout, but definitely would like a leather that's low maintenance. So I'm not a pull tab guy but a straight toe cap would look stunning.
