They are pretty snug in the toes, both length and width but seemed to still be the best fit (I do wear thicker socks with them). The 7 was way too tight (could maybe wear with dress socks exclusively) and the 8 felt like after it broke in it would be too big.

Actually wearing them today.

Looks awesome!  Don't see many plain toes around though. Would the brannock size be the usual sneaker size? I got measured by one at red wings but i forgot to take note of my brannock size..

Considering going for a 6.5 in viberg due to the E width.

You guys think a 6.5 in the 2030 last would be feasible for me? I asked viberg for their last length and size 6.5 is 27.0cm while size 7 is 27.5 cm. My feet length with socks on is 26.035cm.. Do you all think 1cm of space for size 6.5 would be too tight? Or i should simply stick with a size 7? Anyone with narrow feet have experience with this?

We're a similar size - your measurement suggest you're around an 8.5 - 9 brannock. I'm an 8.5c. In the 2030 I have both a size 8 and a 7.5. The 7.5 is pushing a bit on the short side - still a good 1/2"+ left in the toe, but it's clear the structure of the boot is short when it comes to heel -> ball of foot, which is what you should be shooting for. The 8 is a bit better but of course I have to use fairly thick socks due to my foot being narrow. I'd say do the 7.5 but definitely no shorter.

Personally I think you're going way too short in your boots unless you have super long toes. You're not suppose to size boots/dress shoes like tennis shoes.

With the current round in production, I may start discussions for a new round of Styleforum GMTOs very soon.  Stay tuned, gentlemen.

Fok,

Have you gotten any feedback from Viberg whether the Route 10's will in fact be unlined?

Thanks.

Wonder what last the Chelseas would be on?  Or do they have a specific/new last for them?  All I remember was seeing a pic in IG.

Fok will you have a list of confirmed leathers for us prior to starting the next round?

Boondocker in a roughout or a horsehide with a corded sole on anything except the 2030. I know -- not very creative, but really what I want.

I wear a size 8.5 or 9 in most sneakers

Sort of.  I will have the status of some leathers, and the type of construction that we will be able to use with them.  That said, I am sure that other questions will come up.  Hopefully, communication with Viberg will be faster, but we all have to understand that they are not set up to answer technical and design questions in real time.

Cheers,

Fok.

Just curious if any SF pal have try 1 full size down from 2030 to 110. In decision to buy boondocker in 110 but only size 9 or 10 is available. I'm a 10 in 2030 and have the half Japanese in 9.5 which still has little room lengthwise and widthwise. I wonder if that suffice to further size down to 9 in boondocker as it is unstructured toe. I forgot if the half Japanese is structured toe.

i wear same size in 2030 and 110.  wouldn't the unstructured toe of the boondocker make them feel even tighter in a 9?

I would think this would not work and potentially be quite painful.  The static internal length measurements of the 2030 and 110s that have are quite similar (not taking any of the other dimensions into account). Given your choices, I would be more apt to go with my 2030 size and if you had "room" wear a thicker sock otherwise just pass.

* If you search through the thread I recall at least one person who did size down quite a bit on the 110.  It worked for him, but I am certain it would not work for me and I siuspect not for the fat part of the curve.
