Viberg Boots - Page 956

Hey @LA Guy

Is the last group order still on track for a December delivery?

I wear my black boots more than any other, more suited to my business environment. I bring the color in the evenings. YMMV.

Is chromepak leather difficult to handle in bootmaking? I join a GMTO in reddit and the Haroween leather received by bootmaker is in poor quality and the olive color is way off looks closer to black and is too oil in content that the vamp is difficult to glue down before stitching. Now I am in decision to cancel or go ahead or choose another makeup.

Unfortunately, it's looking more and more unlikely. Sorry.

Are you waiting on those to start the next round? Just curious if anything is brewing before the end of the year?

Odd. They have some editor not know and just see the sole is made in England so he put that as a copy point?

My heart skipped a beat when I saw coffee chromepack on the 1035 last! After unsuccessfully trying a similar makeup on the 2030 last, I was stoked to see it on a last that actually fits me.

Lo and behold, I find they're yet another stockist that doesn't seem to think that half sizes are needed over size ten.

Curse you, Brooklyn Clothing Company!!

I can't believe a stockist as big as Mr. Porter cannot be bothered to have accurate descriptions. They consistently fail to mention the details of the makeup, material, construction, and last, and now this.

You said it, "as big". Buyer and website manager probably only talk in meetings. Website guy(s) are probably off-site.

I don't believe it is any more difficult however I have seen a few samples were the description does not match the color all that well and i believe the color changes somewhat when it is actually stretched..no first hand knowledge just pieces I have picked up on the world wide internets.

I tried to contact them via their website, but there's no submit button for the form.  There's also no email listed.  I do recall them saying a long time ago you could put down a deposit and they could custom order the half size for you, but not sure what the deal is now.

I would like to, but I don't want to jump the gun, since I like to know that actual production is imminent before doing the next round.  Vibeg has not been the easiest vendor to contant right now.

Cheers.

Fok.
