Agree beautiful looking but still not a fan of how tucked under the upper looks especially around the toe area on their flat GYW. If that had been storm welted I may have been tempted to buy.

Are there any pics of Standard & Strange's 110 waxed flesh boots online (other than the shot Viberg posted on Instagram)?

Just curious how these differ from our makeup.

I noticed the same difference. I have the 1035 Guidi Tan Horsehide. Then I looked at the description and saw GYW.

It's a nice alternative for those who prefer 2030 to 1035 that viberg.com offers.

Re Notre's makes: I know the 2030 is "sleek" but do we really need every model in it?

It's popular (they've sold out almost all of their models in pre-sale/initial sale), so why make anything else? They are in the business of moving stock.

Sure, it sells. It's just a boring last and not particularly well-fitting. "Because it sells" has never been a great measure of taste.

To Meso's point, It is popular but eventually there will be a saturation level with the umpteenth service boot on 2030, and I doubt they will continue to sell out the way they have in the past. I was psyched to see the chukka on 110, almost ordered it last night and it was awesome that Context did the horse butt on 2045 that was one hell of a unique boot (too bad they didnt order any below an 8).  Most people on here are more enthusiast than your average shopper but eventually there has to be some variety.

I couldn't agree more.  So sick of seeing everything in the 2030.  It looks so disproportionate to me...a bulky boot with a dainty toe.  No offense to 2030 fans.. ;)

No offense taken.  :->>  I have 4 pairs of Service Boots on the 2030.  As I've said (probably too many times) before, the 2030 is the best fitting last for my feet across all manufacturers.  However, I do agree with you.  I am, in a way, bored with the 2030.  But it's hard to argue with a last that fits your feet perfectly.

I have the SF waxed flesh on the 2045 but it doesn't work as well for my feet.  Maybe I'll just get another 2030 boot but with a Vibram 2060 sole to change things up!

well, I find it odd to call it boring and ill-fitting in the same sentence as saying it says really well. There are more than a few of us that find it to be possibly the best RTW last available. So I am not sure what your basis is for it being ill-fitting?

The 2030 just doesn't look proper as a boot. All yall look like a bunch of pussies wearing that pointy 2030 last. The human foot isn't naturally shaped like that either

I guess some of us just don't need to compensate for our insecurities and don't care what other people think. Is it even natural to wear something on our feet in the first place?
