That's not a compromise I could make. Boots need to fit correctly both length and width otherwise I would pass/get rid. It makes absolutely no sense to me why anyone would pay premium prices for a pair of ill fitting boots unless they are a collector who doesn't intend to wear them.

Oh, I didn't mean it as a compromise. I meant it as "so you just don't get to wear Vibergs because they don't fit your feet." I had to come to that realization with Red Wing 875s, which I adore, but are much too narrow for my foot. If the width/length doesn't work then you don't buy the boot. Far too many people *do* compromise, unfortunately.

They would literally have to stretch the sole in my case - this isn't an overall length/width/volume thing, unfortunately.

Have you tried washing your feet in hot water and throwing them in the dryer?

Just a bucket of ice water and a ball peen hammer so far... now the fit is really off. But that's a bit more creative, I'll try that next.

Step 1. Get a dvd player
Step 2. Get McGyver season 2
Step 3. Acquire knowledge
Step 4. Apply knowledge
Step 5. Profit

Will someone who ordered the Color 8 service boot from Leffot in April PLEASE post fit pics of them in sunlight?

I have only found one set of photos on the net. There's no way more people haven't rocked them if this was Leffot's second—and probably final—run.

Eager to see more French calf and Italian calf (tumbled/non) models.

"after this run, these boots may be retired."

:(

I want to see if they are as red in direct sun as shown in this pic I found.

If anyone has a change of heart about a size 7.5 pair...maybe you got in on the brandy shell and the wife got upset at both purchases...the kids need more diapers or dental work...I don't know, but I'm happy to take the boots off your hands.

You ordered a pair?

I always miss out. Damn.

Has Viberg does a natural cxl service boot? I'm quite excited for the Derby's and already looking ahead.

What is a DVD player? I do see this McGyver thing you speak of on iTunes. I may do this, esp. if Profit == enough $$ to buy proper fitting boots.

To be fair, I was following the basic advice on this forum - which is size down half for normal feet, and possibly a full size for narrowish feet. Viberg does have a reasonable return policy if they don't fit, but they were so freakin' stiff out of the box it was hard to tell. I think my spidey sense for boot fittings is more dialed in now.
