Viberg Boots - Page 72

Is the MTO email working? I tried to send an email via mto@viberg.com but the mail was bounced.

FYI; if any of you missed out on the sample sales a few pairs have showed up on ebay.

The Heels are wider in the Vibergs as well. I feel more secure with the heel in my White's but they are also two entirely different boots so it's hard to compare. As far as quality goes, BOTH are top notch. The leather for each (Ice Moch CXL for the Viberg & Brown CXL for the White's) were perfect, but different all the same. White's were softer and Viberg's were stiffer. Both are super comfy but if I HAD to choose one for all day comfort, it would be the White's. I bought the White's for work purpose only and the Viberg's for more dressy casual stuff, hence the very different configurations,

I love them both smile.gif
thanks for the input, the difference is probably obvious when you put them side by side

Viberg Service Boot, Loden Green, Brogue Toe Cap, 8 Eyelets, Commando Sole, No box Toe, 2005 Last

out-of-the-box the leather looked parched & dull.

.... so i gave it a "lift". initially cleaned them w/Lexol leather cleaner, then 1st coat, Lexol conditioner

drying out after the 2nd coat, Sedgwick leather conditioner

2 days after treatment has sipped in & dry to touch. 'topped it off with a 3rd coat, Obenauf LP. i know some will disagee w/the conditioning overkill, but i thought i'd give it a feast before hitting the road. 'started out really dark, but they've lighten up quite a bit after 5days of wear.

Don't think anyone did yet.

Took some doing, but I cruised by the factory today. The staff is very pleasant. You can tell they are passionate about their work. I had time for a quick tour of the facility, but I apologize time was very limited and I did not take any interior shots.

Nice!! Did you also get sized and perhaps place some orders??

I got sized on the 2030, 2040, and the 110 (sort of). No 310s near my size.

I was severely delayed at SEA-TAC. I'm lucky I was able to catch Morgan at the factory and get fitted. Custom order to follow shortly.

Overall, top notch. The staff really is great, just very very busy.

do they take repair order [ie, re-sole] @store or do you need to arrange thru mail?
