This is the only pair of these I've ever seen. Profile shot?

These are one of eight and quite honestly, I don't think they ran out of shell. I think they simply overestimated the level of interest. I was drawn to the color combination, which also gave me an opportunity to add some black shell to my collection. I purchased them knowing I would swap the soles. Ultimately had hooks added a month ago. Both profile shots are pre-hooks.....

I don't love them like I thought I would but I like them and look forward to beating the crap out of them.

Edit: adding a shot with the original soles.....

Honestly I think these are the first 2 tone vibergs I’ve liked.

It's nice to finally see these in the wild! Thank you for sharing.

I'm sure they look great on Dainite -- it's just too cool an upper not to look good on top of just about anything. That said, when I saw these on their original wedge sole, I thought I might jump on them as my first shell boots, and regret not doing so. Depending on the entirety of the makeup, I can really like wedge soles.

Both scout and bobcat look best with wedge soles.

Just now? are you in the states? seems like an extremely long time to get them
Mine just shipped on Thursday as well. I had emailed them last week to check and got some BS about COVID related shipping delays. Ok. But there were probably a couple dozen pairs on the Color 2 run? Others started getting then in September. So they can only ship 2-3 pairs a week or something? Meanwhile "Drop Four" pairs are already landing on feet. Whatever...

While there's less visual texture on that leather than I was expecting, that's a lovely pair of boots nevertheless. I wonder if those variations would pop after a quick pass with Venetian Cream and a vigorous brushing?

On a completely separate topic, does anyone here have a lot of experience with Vibram-2060-soled makeups? If so, can you kindly offer some opinions/thoughts? Do they wear out particularly fast, or are they reasonably durable? Do you dig 2060, hate it, or something in between?

That's the sole division road is basically a wh*re for right? I think it looks better than the christy soles, but I'm not big on wedge in general honestly.

Not to derail, but a side note: speaking of less common soles, Viberg's never done Vibram 2870 have they?

If it's sale/seconds there is no return, it's final sale only. Don't know about their regular stock items sorry. I've got a pair of RW 8076 on the way from them right now actually.

LOL! You derailer! ;)

Well, yeah, let me try this again: Assuming you're not one who generally does not like wedge soles, and assuming you have had experience with Vibram 2060 (and preferably have put them through some use), what's their wear like? I know they're soft for walking, I know it's a bit mixed for traction depending on conditions, but more than anything I'm wondering more about its durability.

I was looking at a regular priced item. But thanks!
Eli at Berkeley will tell you what their general return policy is if you shoot him an email
