Any good Viberg retailers out there that won't put up a stink when asked for a couple, simple photos of a $800+ pair of boots? As an online shopper for Bergs, with simply no retailers around me, I don't think this trend of "no refunds, credit only" really jives with Retailer's refusal or uncooperativeness to share photos of the actual product ahead of purchase. If I was shopping in person, I would have the ability to inspect the product and wouldn't have to blindly purchase. Really puts the online shopper at a disadvantage.

I asked a retailer for some photos, and after a few days time, I got photos sent to me that made me squint so hard that it was difficult to tell if I was looking at boots or a Volkswagen. I asked if they could please resend slightly higher res photos and have been ghosted.

Viberg, why won't you take my money?

Ordered a pair in natural dublin which is normally kind of beat up. Blue Button shop sent pics of the shoes to confirm I was okay with the condition.

Same happened with a pair of olive suede. I questioned whether a dark spot was a stain or a shadow and they sent more pics. It was a shadow.

Sure, they're doing that as much to save hassles on their end but I appreciated the effort.

A well respected men's wear shop told me they were approached by Viberg to carry the brand, but he outright refused them. I guess they make the dealer pay all import taxes along with a few other "deal breakers", most of which revolves around a lack of special make-ups for shell cordovan and the fact that you can buy direct from Viberg.

Isn't the retailer having to pay import taxes just the cost of doing business and if they're in the US, shouldn't those import taxes be zero anyway?
