Wait, what's is wrong with that stuff? It just tastes like regular natural peanut butter to me. Someone else mentioned whole nuts. They do have them for good prices. You'd think with like 70% of the world's almonds being grown in California we could get cheap almonds, but that is not the case anywhere but TJ and Costco.

Have you ever worked with raw caperberries? I thought it would be cool to try dry curing them, but I can't find where to get any.

never have seen them. i've got a caper bush i grew to see what it was like. pretty little plant but i only get like 2 flowers a season. the flowers are fantastic, though, like some kind of very weird insect.

I have walked into Trader Joes I don't know how many times just to get so aggravated at the people, and the lines that I have had to leave in fear that I was going to either hurt people or steal something out of frustration. I'd rather be waterboarded than shop at this place.

Yes, it's very popular here in "The Cleve". If you go on the weekends, your best best is to be there promptly when the doors open at 9:00 a.m. Otherwise, I would recommend going 1/2 hour before closing time.

sounds like the Krispy Kreme phenomenon. here in cali we take them as a regular part of our existence ... no big deal. they are usually somewhat crowded (they only do small stores) but they open new lines whenever more than 2-3 people are waiting. the real nightmare is their parking lots, which seem always to be specially engineered for maximum inefficiency.

oh my god, that one in Encino on Burbank right by White Oak, one of the worst parking lot experiences of any store
