Split-Toe Blucher with 4 eyelets, nice soft full-grain leather that takes to a shine with a rubber sole good for harsh weather conditions. The sole and heel have alot of wear left in them, with some rounding in the heel as shown in the picture.

34S/18 boys Grey Plaid DB Sportcoat by TFW
It's made out of 70% polyester and 30% rayon and has cheap plastic buttons, but so what.. it's a 34s and it fits!!

I found a single piece on the left sleeve that came up a little. I will have pictures of that tomorrow.

Nice shoes, but too small for me. Where are they made? I haven't had a chance to go to a store and look at them in person.

You won't find these in any stores, friend. Florsheim still does sell a Kenmoor model shoe (although not in shell cordovan, I think), but DEFINITELY not like this. The v-cleat (replaced on these) is a much older model & was used when Florsheim still made very nice quality shoes.

This is a staple shoe, I think. Everyone should own at least one pair (even if just to look at).

Here's a learn something new everyday question: Why did manuf stop using v cleats? I find it hard to believe it's for traction purposes as modern day dress shoes still embarrass the crap outta me as I'm walking from the boardroom to the coffee room with a potential.

Been busy at work and in class all day. Bump for added Gimbels tweed jacket!

I also have grenson boots 9/9C, riding boots 9.5EE (cheap kind), 36s navy sportcoat, 34/36 db sport coat grey plaid windowpane looking color and banana republic sportcoat. PM me for details until I take pics and measurements.

maybe it has something to do with outsourcing the mfg from USA to overseas.

Just as a quick assist to you, those Florshiems have not been re-heeled. At the end of the USA run for Florsheim (before their bankruptcy) they moved away from the V-Cleats and into the combination heel you see on these shoes. Thus, you have the original heels on these shoes as when they were marketed (in the late 90's).

They still use this heel style on the much inferior made in India product they market now.
