ebay suits, sportcoats, and other clothing - Page 178

I've purchased from Ann (kellyB) and the lack of PayPal didn't worry me. Her quality is excellent. She packs very well for shipment and ships promptly. I would not allow PayPal to stand between me and nice clothing.

I'm very interested in this, but I'm new at patterns like this. I've kept my wardrobe simple (suits, white or blue shirts, etc) because I have no idea what else to wear with a jacket like this. Any suggestions on how to wear this?

That's a very nice sportcoat... If it was a 38R I would be all over it at that price..

oh, and as for kellyb.. I've had nothing but good experiences.. And it's even better because a lot of people avoid her auctions since you can't use paypal, keeping the prices relatively low.

Cream shirt, navy pants also would work (unless the jacket is too blue for navy pants, but from the picture I don't think so). I was off on the time remaining, still an hour-plus to go. But bsquared, if it's your size I think it's a good deal anywhere close to the current price, and I'm sure you'd find lots of ways to wear it.

Well, the measurements were perfect. The fabric was perfect for central Florida. I bid $300 when it was at 179.50. Someone outbid me with 5 seconds to go. Kicking myself.

New Asprey goods including leather wallets, change keepers, leather sneakers and a size 38 pair of moleskins. Prices seem good.

As to KellyB (Ann Condos) in Connecticut, I've also done as much Ebay business with her as anyone else. She doesn't post pictures until pretty late in the auction. Unlike Beverly Hills Bazaar, her NWT goods actually come with the tags attached. It's surprising how little action she gets.

I'm not claiming she doesn't do good business, she just won't ever have mine without accepting electronic forms of payment. I haven't written a paper check in years.

I don't know about everything they sell, but I did receive a NWT D'Venza suit from Beverly Hills Bazaar. All tags were in place.

Any thoughts on this? It seems like a great deal for a quality classic navy suit.

Unlike the Asprey goods, this item "shows some wear" and I'm disinclined to get into the graphic details of what caused it or what was stored in the drawers. I generally prefer NWT goods in any case.

Never heard of Oxxford Couture either. I'm guessing it's just another collection with a fancy name though.

They could call the book 'How to get top dollar on ebay with crappy descriptions and minimal pics, while screwing over one in four customers'. Of course it would only have two chapters - 'volume' and '99 cent auctions'.

Extremely fake looking, plus seller is now ' no longer registered'. Just open the 'case' with paypal and will up it to a full dispute in a couple of hours.
