I think that's an absolutely terrific looking jacket in a versatile color that will work well with fall/winter pants, ties & sweaters.

Yup, pity it's too small for me. I have bought from the seller before; no complaints.

Assuming the measurements are accurate, probably better suited (sorry) for a 42 R.

Two notes of caution:

1. He measures the chest at 42", combined with the 34" waist, probably means a 39-40R.
2. Also, working button holes on sleeve, but nary a sleeve measurement. If there is an interest, one ought question carefully on measurements all the way around. These sloppy postings drive me nuts and preclude bidding on some great stuff. (Although, I take a flyer every once and awhile and luck out.)

But connemara's right, it's a nice-looking suit.

Just make sure you don't run in to any members of the Black Watch Regiment while you're wearing it....

Very handsome fabric in a large scale plaid. Seems to measure as a 41 short to me - listed as a 42. I have no interest in the sale, of course. just an interesting item that is seldom seen on eBay.
