Yup.

Depends which range though. The standard ones are available through Amazon (although check other sources and price history, I bought a Seiko 5 for $50 and it's now $100).

Massdrop has some interesting ones too if you're willing to wait.

If you want some of the more exotic and interesting domestic models from Japan you can order them from Chino Watch.

SARB065 and SARB035 are probably the sweet spots for value giving a solid automatic movement and the 035 having sapphire.

Also agree that a diver with a suit isn't a serious felony.  But there are better choices by far.  That said, if someone wears a no-date sub as their ONEWATCH they will catch no grief from me.

Fair comment here as well.  I've seen guys with a dozen black dial dive watches in their rotation and I really don't get it.

Obviously not a poor man's watch, but a 5513 Maxi is my grail. If I had one I'd wear it with EVERYTHING!

^^^ Couldn't agree more. While not a 5513, my 114060 is THE perfect onewatch for me.

Japan Domestic Market only Seikos can also be had through seiyajapan.com

I've used them and they are reliable and reputable.

+1. Higuchi is a reliable source as well. I've bought quite a few from him over the years.

I just had a seamless purchase with Chino watch, which was slightly cheaper than the other two.

Yes, I have heard they are a good source as well.

Seiko Sarb035 - seems to be a common contender in the thread...love mine. Not sure why the image loses so much resolution when I upload it.

^have the same watch love it. But for some reason its running a good 5 mins fast each day. Not sure why as I've had the watch for less then a year frown.gif. Have to get it looked at.

It might be magnetized.  I'd stop by a local watchmaker to see if they can de-magnetize it before shipping it off somewhere.

That's a beauty. And love that second hand!

Thanks MSchapiro! I have an Amazon gift card that I will use for a Seiko watch. There are a lot of Seiko watches on Amazon.

Any reason why Seiko is far more popular here than Citizen? I prefer the styling of Citizen, but was curious if there were quality issues or something...

I like Citizens, but I think Seiko has a bigger range. As my budget has grown I have found much nicer Seikos available.
