Ask this question in the Watch Appreciation Thread.  This is more common for high end watches.  For anything priced to be a PMW, this is a huge red flag.

Thanks, I wasn't sure as this doesn't relate to any specific watch. Will ask over there..

If you don't like the size I'd be happy to snap it off you in a few weeks o:)

Sadly, I don't think that will be happening.  :D

What's throwing me off is not the actual size of the case (I actually like smaller and lighter watches), but the band itself is a bit odd in that there's a taper to it, which makes it look small on my wrist.  I'm going to try throwing a stainless steel bracelet on it and I think that will feel a bit more balanced.  Really beautiful watch, though.  I picked it up off of ebay and I'm very pleased with the condition it's in.

That can be easily remedied by a new strap or as you are going to do a new bracelet.

Haha. Fair enough. I hope you enjoy it with the new strap / bracelet!

Btw, just confirming. That's the 37mm Viewmatic, right?

What are your going to do with it, some kind of Blancpain Fifty Fathoms homage?

I love mine! Gorgeous watch in person. I have a nice #8 shell cordovan strap on it.
